I’m a photographer and film-maker based in the Exarcheia area of Athens, Greece. My special interest is in personal autobiography documentary-making. This was the subject of my thesis for a BA in photography and audiovisual arts from University of West Attica.

I’m part of the alternative (“weird”) scene, and my background is in low-budget and no-budget productions. I’m interested in work made by people all round the world grounded in different cultures and languages, and I’ve travelled widely in Asia, the Middle East and the Balkans. Generally I prefer a hand-made DIY aesthetic.

I teach IT at a local vocational night-school with a multi-cultural student body – it’s an environment which inspires a lot of my work. I also have a degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Athens Polytechnic.
