Theory feeds into my work, and I find it a great pleasure to study. My thesis was entitled Self-referentiality and the family: A cross-media study of the creation of autobiographical works ("Αυτοαναφορικότητα και οικογένεια: Μια διεπιστημονική διερεύνηση στη δημιουργία αυτοβιογραφικών έργων") and it's available here in Greek.

My research covered literature and graphic novels as well as photography and film, and touched on:

-The emergence of self-referential art as part of the shift to post-modernism

-Representation and power (postcolonial theory)

-AI and self-referential works

-Autobiography as a means of processing trauma

-Family histories

-The importance of the personal story in the AI age
